History
The Picket Fence Flower shop started in 1974, 33 years ago by Sadie Akamine, who at that time gave up teaching high school to "do her own thing!" Sadie's goal at that time was, and still is, to provide her customers with the best flowers, designs and service possible. This translates to custom floral arrangements, unique flower lei, fresh tropical gift packs to the mainland, beautiful wedding and funeral work, and of course, service performed in a friendly and professional manner.
Over the years Sadie has developed a growing and solid relatonship with her suppliers and designers who know she expects and accepts product only of the highest quality. All purchases are guaranteed to please both sender and recipient...from a single perfect rose accompanied with a satin bow and a gold seal to a sophisticated party event laden with opulent topiaries and cascading floral tributes----she does and has done them all.
What you see on these pages are but a fraction of what the Picket Fence creates. Be sure to stop by or call Sadie at 262-7727. You will be glad you did. |

Whatever variety you choose, a little TLC will go a long way to keep your blooms looking fresh longer. Here are a few handy tips that can help add days to their beauty!
